Noah - it's hard - if you want a good one. Only 2947 were made against
the 8484 odd TR250s. Guide prices in my cuurrent magazine indicate
$7500 for a basket case, $11250 for one needing a lot of work and
$15000 for a good one - but still far from concours. Two for sale at a
dealer are currently #20250 and $22500. Get a TR250 and then ship over
the bits you need to convert it. Those are plentiful and still fairly
cheap - and you've got a TR5. Just ensure you aren't in California or
it will surely fail the smog test and tere's not a lot you can do to
get it under the limit.
