Sorry for the delayed reaction.  My preference is for jack stands, but only
the kind with the cast iron jaw and welded legs.  The sheet metal ones are
downright dangerous !

HF sometimes has small ones on sale for under $15/pr

Ramps work OK for the front, I guess, but they sure take up a lot of room,
both under the car and in storage.  They're useless in the rear, and when
working on the front suspension.
