Another 'excess of caution' question.
Posted a question about low oil pressure and am now about to pull out the oil
pressure relief valve and clean the ball and seating. There are two hex nuts
- small on top of large. And the smaller of the two is a lock nut.
Question: Is the lock nut "locking" the adjustment screw or the larger hex
nut under it. That is, will the relief valve come out as a unit by
untightening the larger nut only without doing the smaller?
