Good Evening Arthur
I have just found the vintage Triumph Register site on the net and spotted
that you have a particular interest in the TR4 and I wonder if you could let
me have some advice. In August 1992 I brought back my TR4 from Atlanta
Georgia. The car needed a full restoration which is now complete (up rated for
fast road use) and is giving us a great deal of pleasure. I have traced its
production record through the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust and
established that it was built in November 1963 and was dispatched on the 26th
November 63 to The Standard Triumph Motor Company Inc. in Houston Texas. Its
chassis number is CT/27192-L Engine number CT/27489-E and body number
26985/CT. It was at the time painted British Racing Green with a white hood
and tonneau. (It's now red with a black surrey top) Is it possible to trace
it's history of its time over there?
I would love to know about its life in the States, especially anyone who used
to own it as It would be great to be able to send some photographs out to show
that there's a lot of life left in the old girl yet.
Hope you can help, but if not, keep up the good work.

Very best regards
Graham Stokes
