a tr4a head, when viewed from the rh side of the car, has a 2 distinct
castings just outboard of where the valve cover seats. the side of the
head toward the front of the car is straight and level with the valve
cover seating surface. the side of the head to the rear of the engine
has a surface that forms a shallow "V". ted
