David, One trick I've used is to grind a flat along the length of the
bushings until the thickness is reduced to next to nothig at which point it
will break and spring open a bit.  Then you can take a drift or cold
chissle and tap the thing around to loosen it up.  At this pont you can
grab it with a pair of vice grips and work it off the stud.
