My suggestion would be to look for a "low boy" floor jack.  For example,
http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/product2030.html
advertises a minimum height of 3.75", for only $120. (NFI, etc.)

My car is also pretty low, and the radiator shield actually has to ride up
the side frame a bit to get the saddle under the crossmember, but my floor
jack works quite well for me.
