My TR3 race car is light enough that I use 2 bathroom scales per wheel, each
with
a piece of angle iron as a low friction support for a piece of thick plywood
that the
tire sits on. It was good enough to win a National Championship. The set up
was much less expensive than the "Ruggels" spelling? lever system.

      ^ ^ angle iron X 2
------------ --------------- 2 scales

The 2.5PI gearbox (unless it was changed from the 2000) has different ratios,
a different clutch spline, different rear mounts (probably where the late TR6
set up came from); and the shift lever is canted and longer, and uses the
later stud locating
set up to keep it in place.

  Hardy TS 10646L, etc.
