I found a crack on the transmission I plan to put into my TR4A. It's near the
lip of the bellhousing and runs about 6 inches long. It's fairly serious
since it would probably cause the slave cylinder to break off if it cracked
all the way. Is it possible to have someone weld the bellhousing in order to
avoid a catastrophe, or should I just plan to install all the gears, etc. into
a different transmission case?
