Don:

Two important items before you undertake this project:
1) Get the correct schematic (negative ground for a 4A), go to Kinko's and
have it enlarged to about 20" X 30"
2) order correct black vinyl wrapped harness from British Wiring in
Chicago. Talk to Leslie and ask what other nipples and connectors will be
needed.

When the order arrives, lay it out on the floor to determine left and right
in relation to the car. The main front branch will be on the right just
under the control box. The left side will be for the wiper motor and brake
switch. The grommet for the right side will be installed on the harness so
the wires will be fed to the front through the firewall from the passenger
compartment. Once the harness is fed through the firewall the rest is a snap
(pun intended).

Installing a new and complete harness is more intimidating than the actual
job
