At the local Value center i found some 1/8" dia X 24" string of packaged
plumber's putty and teflon. I did two gauges with it by cutting it to fit.
it seemed to compress nicely and everything went back together fine. I used
the putty type inside the gauges and plan to use the teflon behind the
gauges on the dash.
