Had an idea and wanted to run it by the group here: anything wrong with
putting a bead of solder along the leading edge of each of the four
impeller blades, to "catch" the water better?
The only thing I can think of is that it may need to be well balanced; it
must turn a bit faster than the engine rpm. But then its diameter isn't all
that much.
What do you think? I do know you can buy new improved impellers etc.
