Thanks for putting me right Larry.How come that US gallons are 
smaller than ours? I thought that things were always bigger in the 
States.

I'm thinking of boring my engine out to 0.575526315 US gallons

     86 millimetres ( French ) + 0.040" (Imperial )

   Hey......What's that in cubic US inches?
