Les,

Yes it is a 12 V. The rheostat on the dash is used to adjust voltage for fan
speed. I think TRF or Moss has brushes. Any thing else you will have to get a
used one from one of the used parts shops. I think a solid green wire is the 12V
+ the other must be ground.
