>I have the heater out of my TR3B, and am sanding and repainting it. How
can I
tell if the fan motor functions? Is it okay to hook it up to a 12 volt
battery, or is there some sort of relay I need? If the fan won't work, can
it
be repaired, or is there a source for the electric motor?
Thanks in advance,

A relay? For that wimpy thing?

No, go ahead and touch the wires to the battery. Just keep your fingers
clear of the blades. You wouldn't want to bend the blades. ;-)
