>From personal experience with smog checks on a couple of older non-LBC's,
just because the car passed the smog check doesn't mean the car will run
right. I passed the smog after the station operator made some"adjustments",
which was fine for emissions, but wasn't worth a plug nickel to drive, even
going down hill with a 30mph tailwind.
