Keith,
When I first got my TR3 I took mine apart. That was before I learned you're
not supposed to do that. I put them back together, without using a torque
wrench, and they have been fine for over 10 years. No leaks. Was it dumb
luck, or perhaps over-concern on the part of the folks who wrote the
manuals? Who knows? Sometimes Murphy loses. I say, go for it.

Subject: TR4 Front Calipers
I am about 85% done with the restoration on my TR4, but I have now come to a
point where I must ask a question. The PO seperated the front brake calipers
and now I don't know if I should put them back together or buy new ones.
According to Moss the Front brake calipers are not suppose to seperated
becuase the correct torque setting are not know. Does anyone have any
suggestions
