Thanks for the posts, from my part of the world. Actually, I heard on National
Public Radio this morning that BMW was to sell of the Rover group -- except for
Land Rover and the new Mini -- to a venture group that will go by something like
"The MG Car Company." I mentioned it to my wife and she said "oh yeah, I heard
yesterday they were going to do something like that today." So there's a bit
more
coverage than you'd think -- though mostly it's coverage of BMW, not labor
issues
in the UK.
Now, if it had been called The Triumph Car Company, there'd be dancing in the
streets stateside, no?
