I never lock the doors on my '6. When the roof's up (rarely), any
pocket knife through the top will give access! At least if the doors
unlocked you may save the cost of a new top! I've installed a fuel
pump isolation switch in the boot (trunk) and then I LOCK the boot.
The car will not start without the pumps running - spins over but no
fuel - no getaway! Easy and cheap installation and should ensure that
the car stays put.
