Mine would have been New White behind the grill if I could have found
the colour code (or I had been on this list) at the time of painting.
I opted for Rover White 200 which is as near as dammit, and is a
1960s/70s colour.
Lotus Elans had black behind the grill - the registration number was on
the actual grill in white letters - no plate just the numbers- at least
mine was when I bought it.
