No, it's painted satin black.

BTW, this part and the pedal assembly are perfect candidates for powder
coating, holds up to DOT3 or 4 brake fluid much better than paint.

(Note: Just a comment, NOT trying to get yet another DOT3/4/5 thread
going! 8^()
