Thanks everyone for your help. I made sure that the oil pump shaft was engaged into the distributor drive gear shaft and then I dowsed the whole area in 30wt Kendall oil and on the 5th crank or so, the oil pressure shot up to 90lbs! Tomorrow I connect the intake and exhaust manifolds, the carbs and radiator and I'll try starting the motor. Dave Triumph TR250, BMW R1100GS, Porsche 911 Carrera, Ford Mustang 5.0 |
