I haven't replaced rocker panels/sills but in the "Technical Talk Vol 2"
published by the Triumph Reg of So Cal sill replacement is covered.  
Seems that poor fit, including too long, is a common problem and the
writer suspects that most suppliers are using the same source as checks
with several found similar dimensions.
