There appear to be several options for aftermarket valve covers for the TR6
(and 6 cyl Triumph engines in general). The one I am interested in is a
really heavy cast aluminum cover with fairly thick and tall fins on the top.
I think VB sells the cover in the US. The Moss covers are quite cheap in
comparison, at least the ones I have seen. The fins are very short and the
overall quality is less than desirable IMO.
I have also seen the thick Al cover in catalogs from both Holden Vintage &
Classic and Europa Specialist Spares, both in the UK.
The question is: does anyone know the manufacturer of these covers? Note:
they are NOT the Triumph Tune covers Moss sells -- those ones are the
"cheap" looking ones.
