I'd think a red hot converter very suspicious for rich mixture and gross
excess of gasoline getting to the converter and combusting there with the
help of air injected into the exhaust
your Lucas electric stuff may not be smoking, but the Lucas fuel injection
may be dumping too much gasoline into the mixture
any thoughts from the rest of the list?
