Hi,

I'm not an expert on TR6 heads, by any stretch - witness my earlier postings.

However...

Jody - I think you may be wrong on this. I have seen several later style
heads with circle B desiganation. The circle B is a foundry designation.
And so would the block N designation.

There are at least four style heads for US Federal TR6's, probably more.
There are actually only two styles, but there were multiple foundries. So
at a min. there were early, early circle B, later, and later circle B.

There are also TR5 heads (these fit the the later style intake manifold, I
think). And there are a couple of other heads listed in the Roadster
Factory TR6 Parts Catalogue, Vol. 1 (hmmm... second mention today) - those
being PI and PI Police version, if memory serves.

I've never tried to cross reference the head numbers, but all triumph parts
seem to have the part number cast into them somewhere - it might be easy to
get the numbers from the head and see which ones match the TR6 Parts book.
The problem with TR6 heads is that there are several numbers cast in, and
I've never tried to make a match of the casting numbers to the part numbers.

Oh well.

See ya,
rml
