While on the subject of Volvo carbs that fit our cars,
I have to mention the CD175 Zenith-Strombergs that are
available brand new at your Volvo/Penta marine dealer. They
were fitted for a few years in the late 60's and early '70's to
some Volvo/Penta boat engines, and I believe they are
still stocked. I have a set in Volvo/Penta boxes that were
never installed that I got God Knows Where, and can get
the part number/application if anyone's interested. The neat
thing about them is they have adjustable jets and no funky
emissions stuff. You just substitute the linkage from your
existing carbs and switch to more correct needles and =
you're in business, they bolt right to our manifolds. =
