Listeres,
Just a quick update on my TR4 front valance installation.
I just finished reinstalling the upper valance. After practicing some plug
welds on scrap metal with the MIG welder I felt confident enough to
attempt welding it in place. I had a little trouble on the first side that I
welded which I found out was due to the primer paint that was on the
valance itself. On the other side I scraped the paint away and the welds
came out a lot better. Using the self darkening helment sure helped also.
Being able to see and hold the tip right where you want it before pulling the
trigger also helps a great deal. Maybe a pro could do it without the self
darkening hood by I probably couldn't!
I'm in the process now of trying to fit the TRF replacement lower valance.
I'll post the details on that after I complete that part.
