Some observations I've made....

TR 4A and TR 250 still have the starting crank hole on the top of the front
valance... BUT... the TR 250 grill does NOT have the corresponding 1/2 hole....

TR 250 grills have the blank/chrome combination....  TR 4A's do not... BUT....

One of my two TR 4A's was in the last 3000 made.... and it's grill had the
black/chrome treatment.... and think it was factory.... BUT... the hole was 
still
there for the crank.....   so maybe there was a short cross-over period...
