Yes they are Vandervell but they are OEM bearings not aftermarket. I
continued to research this and made the discovery after I had replied
to your request.
Had you mentioned they were in a Triumph box I could have told you on
the first pass. VP is the Vandervell trademark.

The number is DEFINITELY the factory Triumph Standard number for Standard main
bearings. And that number is on the box. So it's definitely TR 4(A)... it's
definitely a Triumph part... it's definitely a set of standard bearings... so
the
question is WHO MADE THEM... the logo is just the letters V P laying on top of
teach other... this is what is stamped on the inside of the bearing...
A lot of people on the Triumph newsgroup think that they are vandervell... but
no
one really can identify the VP... I think they're guessing.
Any thoughts?
