Hi listers;
        I might have missed it on the list , but there is a foolproof , easy way
to remove undercoating. When confronted with the same rock hard mess under
one of my cars, I noticed that near any oil source, the undercoat was soft
and could be preasure washed off. So, I mixed up a gallon of oil and
kerosene, and sprayed that onto the undercoat . Waited a week, and did it
again. Wait another week. The resulting gloppy mess came off fairly
easily.(you might consider adding 3M glue removing solvent as a carrier to
the mix to work faster)
