Hi,
This past weekend I picked up something of an oddity at an
autojumble. It's a twin carb manifold to fit a 948/1200 Triumph engine
(or 803 Standard I suppose) fitted with Twin Stromberg carbs. The odd
thing is they are 1.25" Carburettors, ie., CD125. Does anyone know where
these came from? I've never seen them before, and my usual sources can't
supply diaphragms for this size. Generally, the carbs seem pretty good,
but I don't want to put them on a car until I have at least got spare
diaphragms.
If anyone can tell me what cars used these carbs, I might be able to
obtain spares from the appropriate specialists.
    All help gratefully received,
        Cheers,
            Bill.
