I agree completely. But if you look at your thermostat, and are in doubt
if it has a skirt, it most likely does not. The appearance is quite
distinctive. Nevertheless, for such an oddity, a set of good
photos would be a very useful resource. An additional bonus would
be the source(s) of replacements.
