I absent-mindedly paid no attention to the thread on gear oil, until the
very end.
It appears that my entire stock of the stuff (mostly Mohawk brand) is
rated to exceed GL5.
Will this be OK in the TR4? The VTR's RedLine notes say that GL5 is best
for rear diffs, but didn't say what was best for gearboxes.
I also have some Castrol Hypoy; is this better/worse/same as the Mohawk?
They're both rated as 80W90 too.
What about for lubing the steering rack...?
