Oil Pressure question

I had this problem after I rebuilt the dash on Sonja.  It
turned out to be the flexible plastic tubing that was
installed on the oil line, when it heated up, it constricted
unless you put a certain amount of pressure behind it.  I
re-plumbed with solid copper. YMMV.
