>A good friend has recently imported a LHD TR250 into Australia from LA.
>Its a green one-owner car that has sat for many years with a diff
>problem. It is a very early original example.
>Body number 1CC
>Comm number CD228 LO
>Eng. no. C200E

>My friend would like to know if the body numbers are individually
>sequentially stamped or were body numbers shared?

No body numbers were shared to the best of my knowledge. A body number was
as unique as a chassis number except the chassis number was the key
identifier within the factory and on which all build information is based.
Perhaps this E-Mail put into letter form and sent to Anders Claushager at
BMIHT with £25 / US$40 / Oz$ equivalent will extract all the desired info.

>Is it possible that his is the first TR250?
With the info in view, this certainly doesn't look like the last of the
line.
