Carb damper leak problem

My rear carb has started leaking its damper oil in the last couple days.  I
checked the set screw and it is snug.  Any ideas on a remedy?  I fill it in
the A.M. and the time I go home from work, its empty. Examination of it
removed revealed an extremely slow drip from around the needle seat.
