To any Stag owners .....
Whos got a parts car or a hard top that needs some work?
I am still looking for a hard top and soft top frame with all the bits
and pieces.
I could even borrow the hard top because I only really want to make
fiberglass molds form it. This means taking the top apart...all the glass,
chrome, hardwear and and head liner material must be removed. This is an
oppertunity
to have your tops paint completely refinished as its only worth while to make
molds on a perfect surface. I dont know how long it would take to make the
mold as I must work on this in my spare time, but I would guess about 2 or 3
months. The end result will be a two piece top like TR4s had, but only in
fiberglass ( much lighter and easy to handle ) and of course the owner gets
the donor top back finished in whatever color wanted ! I Could even work out a
deal for a copy of the glass top for the price of materals.
As for the soft top frame...I just need a good one for my car
