Believe it or not, that light switch is not there to switch anything - it is
there because without it, the glovebox would not always open, ie. it is
there to spring the door open while the button is pressed.
Now if Triumph had designed a latch that could be pulled to open the door,
then the switch would not have been necessary or better still had they used
the switch drive a light...
