TR6 Rear Quarter Panel

I'm replacing the Left rear quarter panel on my 76 TR6 with a new one from
Moss.  Does anyone know what kind of sealant I need to put between the inner
and outer panel?  

The old panel has what looks like undercoating on the inside.  Is that what it
is?  Anything better for rustproofing and sound deadening.  Anything else I
should do as long as I have the panel and bumpers off the car? e.g. Waxoyl?
speaking of which what is it and where do you get it?
