Actually, I'm certain Bosche recommends you use the Bosch
plug socket to remove the old plugs, which of course is attached to
the Bosch extension and therby to the Bosch ratchet. Failure to use these
items will cause the Bosch profit margin to decrease, and as such is NOT
recommended.
Use your current gapper tooling....what a farce!

Subject: Bosch Platinum Plugs
Does anyone have the know the correct way to gap platinum plugs. Bosch say to
use their special plug gap tool which has measuring wires to gap the plugs
rather than the more normal flat gauge or bent wire plug gapper. Comments?
