I'm in Palmerston North.
I am 'building' a 2.5PI MkII estate.
I have the estate body - 1973 2000MkII, rusty, but to be rescued. (LH
rear door @ strippers being dunked and zinc-ed)
I have the interior/engine - from a 1971 2.5PI, black int., motor to be
rebuilt.
I have the power steer/wheels - from a 1978 2500S I am wrecking, the
wheels are now refinished.
The result is to be a white estate, black interior, PI engine, S
wheels. Very sexy.
But there are wee problems, like setting up the PI fuel hoses, and it
would be good to fish around underneath someone's car to sort this, as I
have already posted to the list, the estate is quite a different beast
to work on.
At some stage in the future it may be real good to have a peek at this
PI - BTW, is it plastic grilled???
