err, why don't you get a copy of adobe acrobat reader from www.adobe.com
it's free and was specifically designed to read pdf files, works both
off line and with your web browser. just my .02$

I DOn't know about Claris Works (I Use an IBM clone) but in order to
view the pdf I had to import it into Excel. If you have a spreadsheet
you might be able to it work in it.
