Can someone please give me a run down on hardware I will need
to reinstall the gearbox in a 69 GT6+ ?
Reason I need to know have to ask: the GT6 is 365 miles away
in a friend's driveway. It's a new acquisition and the DPO had the
gearbox out. The rear of the engine is currently supported by a
1x3 resting across the frame rails, so I want to put the gearbox in
(without clutch and pressure plate) just so the car can make the
trip home with minimum debris trail.
Would hardware attaching gearbox to engine be the same as
TR6 (3 studs, 8 bolts 5/16 UNF) ? how about rear gearbox to
frame ? (if its all same as TR6 then i already have what i need)
