re: intake manifold

Ray:  I've done the conversion on my /78 spit(with HS2's).  It's well worth
it!  Lots of low end power and the engine breathes so much better.  And I
got better gas mileage than with my rebuilt stock  Stromberg.  Manifold was
from a twin carb earlier spit & bolted right on.  I don't  if there's a
year of car with better manifold or not.  As far as I know they all work. 
My choice is the s.u.s' over the weber.
