Thanks for the size info

Single Rail Non-OD 20" (as reported by list member)
Single Rail OD 21.375" (as measured on my garage floor)

I think the OD driveshaft with the carden joint has enough
extension capability to fit either. At least in my car, which is a MKII
with the origianal differential and a '75 1500 motor. I have an OD
driveshaft in it now, behind a single rail non-OD transmission. I had to
swap the rear shaft yoke to the older type to fit the older diff.

That 4.11 behind the high comp 1500 burns rubber in second gear.

What will break first?

Transmission?
Differential?
U-Joint?
Clutch?
Crank? (Already did)
Wallet? (Likewise)
