It's not bad to get out. Take off the three wood facings (if they're still
there), starting w/ the center. Then reach through and unscrew the corners
of your air vents (if so equipped). Then there are 6 screws that hold down
the dash top. You can reach through and undo them pretty easily. After
that, it just lifts off quite easily.
