Filling a J-type OD and Tranny?

Hey All,

 I've purchased a J-type OD and tranny recently and will be installing it this 
month.  My questions are:

1) How does one fil the OD with gear oil?  I haven't seen any fill plug on the 
OD.  

2) Do you just fill the tranny with gear oil, and let the oil flow past the 
rear bearing into the OD?  

3) How much gear oil do you use?  

4) How is oil prevented from getting to the rear gears of the OD?  

5) How does oil get into the pump of the OD?
