Right. What Joe Curry said. Remember also that the prop affixes to the inside
of the
suspension mount bracket, not the outside as commonly installed. (This will
align the
rod with the bonnet correctly.) Use fender washers at the
bonnet hole, and a little grease here and there.
This is also an opportune time to mention that the Spit/GT6 bonnet really ought
to be raised by putting your hand inside the wheel arch -- don*t pull on the
bonnet
lock lever, or eventually you may develop stress cracks at its cutout hole.
