Spit valve guides

Hello Ken
   Down in these parts.  Machine shop do  not install new guide 
unless there are really bad.  What they do is drill out the guide 
oversize in press in a bronze insert.  This insert is then fitted to 
valve stem.  You now have a bronze guide.  If they wear out over the 
years.  They just push out the insert and press and fit a new one.
